The listening sessions are typically held at your local public library, and are STRICTLY nonpartisan. They are informal receptions that can be hosted in any small space where people can gather and converse. The lobby of a town hall could work (similar to an open house event), and so would a separate room at a restaurant (similar to where the Rotary Club would meet). The goal is to simply start a conversation about what solutions people are considering to the problems that are unique to the the rural Midwest.
